Low cloud presses down on the harbor and the whole scene goes to blue — sky, hulls, water, all one temperature. Beneath the surface the weed beds stand up in the shallows, sharp and detailed through water that barely moves. Nothing is happening here. The masts hold still, a flag hangs slack, and the bay does the only thing it does on a morning like this: repeat the sky back at itself.
