Fog has claimed everything. The landscape dissolves into suggestion — tree shapes and shadow, the sun a pale disk trying to burn through grey. A drone pulls back far enough to show the enormity of nothing, the weight of all that dampness holding the world down. This is the swamp’s true face: not the postcards and wildlife tours, but the blank immensity of a place that doesn’t need witnesses.
Shot near Devil’s Hole, Florida, 2026. Drone photography.
